9 எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி: தேவன் தம்மில் அன்புகூருகிறவர்களுக்கு ஆயத்தம்பண்ணினவைகளைக் கண் காணவுமில்லை, காதுகேட்கவுமில்லை, அவைகள் மனுஷனுடைய இருதயத்தில் தோன்றவுமில்லை;
10 நமக்கோ தேவன் அவைகளைத் தமது ஆவியினாலே வெளிப்படுத்தினார்; அந்த ஆவியானவர் எல்லாவற்றையும், தேவனுடைய ஆழங்களையும், ஆராய்ந்திருக்கிறார்.
11 மனுஷனிலுள்ள ஆவியேயன்றி மனுஷரில் எவன் மனுஷனுக்குரியவைகளை அறிவான்? அப்படிப்போல, தேவனுடைய ஆவியேயன்றி, ஒருவனும் தேவனுக்குரியவைகளை அறியமாட்டான்.
12 நாங்களோ உலகத்தின் ஆவியைப்பெறாமல், தேவனால் எங்களுக்கு அருளப்பட்டவைகளை அறியும்படிக்கு தேவனிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற ஆவியையே பெற்றோம்.
13 அவைகளை நாங்கள் மனுஷஞானம் போதிக்கிற வார்த்தைகளாலே பேசாமல், பரிசுத்த ஆவி போதிக்கிற வார்த்தைகளாலே பேசி, ஆவிக்குரியவைகளை ஆவிக்குரியவைகளோடே சம்பந்தப்படுத்திக்காண்பிக்கிறோம்.
14 ஜென்மசுபாவமான மனுஷனோ தேவனுடைய ஆவிக்குரியவைகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளான்; அவைகள் அவனுக்குப் பைத்தியமாகத் தோன்றும்; அவைகள் ஆவிக்கேற்றபிரகாரமாய் ஆராய்ந்து நிதானிக்கப்படுகிறவைகளானதால், அவைகளை அறியவுமாட்டான்.
16 கர்த்தருக்குப் போதிக்கத்தக்கதாக அவருடைய சிந்தையை அறிந்தவன் யார்? எங்களுக்கோ கிறிஸ்துவின் சிந்தை உண்டாயிருக்கிறது.
9. As it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
16. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

9 ...என் ஆத்துமா கர்த்தரில் களிகூர்ந்து, அவருடைய இரட்சிப்பில் மகிழ்ந்திருக்கும்.
9 …my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
8 அதிகாலையில் உமது கிருபையைக் கேட்கப்பண்ணும், உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன், நான் நடக்கவேண்டிய வழியை எனக்குக் காண்பியும்; உம்மிடத்தில் என் ஆத்துமாவை உயர்த்துகிறேன்.
10 உமக்குப் பிரியமானதைச் செய்ய எனக்குப் போதித்தருளும் நீரே என் தேவன்; உம்முடைய நல்ல ஆவி என்னைச் செம்மையான வழியிலே நடத்துவாராக.
11 கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நாமத்தினிமித்தம் என்னை உயிர்ப்பியும்; உம்முடைய நீதியின்படி என் ஆத்துமாவை இடுக்கத்திற்கு நீங்கலாக்கிவிடும்.
12 உம்முடைய கிருபையின்படி என் சத்துருக்களை அழித்து, என் ஆத்துமாவை ஒடுக்குகிற யாவரையும் சங்காரம்பண்ணும்; நான் உமது அடியேன்.
8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
11 Quicken me, O Lord, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.
12 And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.
1 இயேசு தம்முடைய பன்னிரண்டு சீஷர்களுக்கும் கட்டளைகொடுத்து முடித்தபின்பு, அவர்களுடைய பட்டணங்களில் உபதேசிக்கவும் பிரசங்கிக்கவும் அவ்விடம் விட்டுப் போனார்.
1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.
22 அப்பொழுது பிசாசு பிடித்த குருடும் ஊமையுமான ஒருவன் அவரிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டான்; குருடும் ஊமையுமானவன் பேசவுங் காணவுந்தக்கதாக அவனைச் சொஸ்தமாக்கினார்.
23 ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு: தாவீதின் குமாரன் இவர்தானோ? என்றார்கள்.
24 பரிசேயர் அதைக்கேட்டு: இவன் பெயல்செபூலினாலே பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்துகிறானேயல்லாமல் மற்றப்படியல்ல என்றார்கள்.
25 இயேசு அவர்களுடைய சிந்தனைகளை அறிந்து, அவர்களை நோக்கி: தனக்குத்தானே விரோதமாய்ப் பிரிந்திருக்கிற எந்த ராஜ்யமும் பாழாய்ப்போம்; தனக்குத்தானே விரோதமாய் பிரிந்திருக்கிற எந்த பட்டணமும் எந்த வீடும் நிலைநிற்கமாட்டாது.
26 சாத்தானைச் சாத்தான் துரத்தினால் தனக்கு விரோதமாகத் தானே பிரிவினை செய்கிறதாயிருக்குமே; அப்படிச் செய்தால் அவன் ராஜ்யம் எப்படி நிலைநிற்கும்?
27 நான் பெயல்செபூலினாலே பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்தினால், உங்கள் பிள்ளைகள் அவைகளை யாராலே துரத்துகிறார்கள்? ஆகையால், அவர்களே உங்களை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறவர்களாயிருப்பார்கள்.
28 நான் தேவனுடைய ஆவியினாலே பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்துகிறபடியால், தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் உங்களிடத்தில் வந்திருக்கிறதே.
22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
24 அப்பொழுது, இயேசு தம்முடைய சீஷர்களை நோக்கி: ஒருவன் என்னைப் பின்பற்றி வர விரும்பினால், அவன் தன்னைத்தான் வெறுத்து, தன் சிலுவையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு என்னைப் பின்பற்றக்கடவன்
25 தன் ஜீவனை ரட்சிக்க விரும்புகிறவன் அதை இழந்துபோவான்; என்னிமித்தமாகத் தன் ஜீவனை இழந்து போகிறவன் அதைக் கண்டடைவான்.
26 மனுஷன் உலகம் முழுவதையும் ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும், தன் ஜீவனை நஷ்டப்படுத்தினால் அவனுக்கு லாபம் என்ன? மனுஷன் தன் ஜீவனுக்கு ஈடாக என்னத்தைக் கொடுப்பான்?
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
5 இயேசு கப்பர்நகூமில் பிரவேசித்தபோது, நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதி ஒருவன் அவரிடத்தில் வந்து:
6 ஆண்டவரே! என் வேலைக்காரன் வீட்டிலே திமிர்வாதமாய்க் கிடந்து கொடிய வேதனைப்படுகிறான் என்று அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டான்.
7 அதற்கு இயேசு: நான் வந்து அவனைச் சொஸ்தமாக்குவேன் என்றார்.
8 நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதி பிரதியுத்தரமாக: ஆண்டவரே! நீர் என் வீட்டுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்க நான் பாத்திரன் அல்ல; ஒரு வார்த்தை மாத்திரம் சொல்லும், அப்பொழுது என் வேலைக்காரன் சொஸ்தமாவான்.
9 நான் அதிகாரத்துக்குக் கீழ்ப்பட்டிருந்தும், எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிற சேவகருமுண்டு; நான் ஒருவனைப் போவென்றால் போகிறான், மற்றொருவனை வாவென்றால் வருகிறான், என் வேலைக்காரனை இதைச் செய் என்றால் செய்கிறான் என்றான்.
10 இயேசு இதைக் கேட்டு ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு, தமக்குப் பின் செல்லுகிறவர்களை நோக்கி: இஸ்ரவேலருக்குள்ளும் நான் இப்படிப்பட்ட விசுவாசத்தை காணவில்லை என்று, மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
11 அநேகர் கிழக்கிலும் மேற்கிலுமிருந்து வந்து, பரலோகராஜ்யத்தில் ஆபிரகாம் ஈசாக்கு யாக்கோபு என்பவர்களோடே பந்தியிருப்பார்கள்.
12 ராஜ்யத்தின் புத்திரரோ புறம்பான இருளிலே தள்ளப்படுவார்கள்; அங்கே அழுகையும் பற்கடிப்பும் உண்டாயிருக்குமென்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
13 பின்பு இயேசு நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதியை நோக்கி: நீ போகலாம், நீ விசுவாசித்தபடியே உனக்கு ஆகக்கடவது என்றார். அந்த நாழிகையிலே அவன் வேலைக்காரன் சொஸ்தமானான்.
5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
2 நீங்கள் அப்பமல்லாததற்காகப் பணத்தையும், திருப்திசெய்யாத பொருளுக்காக உங்கள் பிரயாசத்தையும் செலவழிப்பானேன்? நீங்கள் எனக்குக் கவனமாய்ச் செவிகொடுத்து நலமானதைச் சாப்பிடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது உங்கள் ஆத்துமா கொழுப்பான பதார்த்தத்தினால் மகிழ்ச்சியாகும்.
3 உங்கள் செவியைச் சாய்த்து, என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள்: கேளுங்கள், அப்பொழுது உங்கள் ஆத்துமா பிழைக்கும்; தாவீதுக்கு அருளின நிச்சயமான கிருபைகளை உங்களுக்கு நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாக ஏற்படுத்துவேன்.
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
17 ஆதலால், கர்த்தருக்குள் நான் உங்களுக்குச் சாட்சியாகச் சொல்லி எச்சரிக்கிறது என்னவெனில், மற்றப் புறஜாதிகள் தங்கள் வீணான சிந்தையிலே நடக்கிறதுபோல நீங்கள் இனி நடவாமலிருங்கள்.
18 அவர்கள் புத்தியில் அந்தகாரப்பட்டு, தங்கள் இருதய கடினத்தினால் தங்களில் இருக்கும் அறியாமையினாலே தேவனுடைய ஜீவனுக்கு அந்நியராயிருந்து;
19 உணர்வில்லாதவர்களாய், சகலவித அசுத்தங்களையும் ஆவலோடே நடப்பிக்கும்படி, தங்களைக் காமவிகாரத்திற்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்கள்.
20 நீங்களோ இவ்விதமாய்க் கிறிஸ்துவைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளவில்லை.
21 இயேசுவினிடத்திலுள்ள சத்தியத்தின்படியே, நீங்கள் அவரிடத்தில் கேட்டறிந்து, அவரால் போதிக்கப்பட்டீர்களே.
22 அந்தப்படி, முந்தின நடக்கைக்குரிய மோசம்போக்கும் இச்சைகளாலே கெட்டுப்போகிற பழைய மனுஷனை நீங்கள் களைந்துபோட்டு,
23 உங்கள் உள்ளத்திலே புதிதான ஆவியுள்ளவர்களாகி,
24 மெய்யான நீதியிலும் பரிசுத்தத்திலும் தேவனுடைய சாயலாக சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட புதிய மனுஷனைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
1 ஆனபடியால், கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குட்பட்டவர்களாயிருந்து, மாம்சத்தின்படி நடவாமல் ஆவியின்படியே நடக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஆக்கினைத்தீர்ப்பில்லை.
2 கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவினாலே ஜீவனுடைய ஆவியின் பிரமாணம் என்னைப் பாவம் மரணம் என்பவைகளின் பிரமாணத்தினின்று விடுதலையாக்கிற்றே.
14 மேலும் எவர்கள் தேவனுடைய ஆவியினாலே நடத்தப்படுகிறார்களோ, அவர்கள் தேவனுடைய புத்திரராயிருக்கிறார்கள்.
15 அந்தப்படி, திரும்பவும் பயப்படுகிறதற்கு நீங்கள் அடிமைத்தனத்தின் ஆவியைப் பெறாமல், அப்பா பிதாவே, என்று கூப்பிடப்பண்ணுகிற புத்திர சுவிகாரத்தின் ஆவியைப் பெற்றீர்கள்.
16 நாம் தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளாயிருக்கிறோமென்று ஆவியானவர்தாமே நம்முடைய ஆவியுடனேகூடச் சாட்சிகொடுக்கிறார்.
17 நாம் பிள்ளைகளானால் சுதந்தரருமாமே; தேவனுடைய சுதந்தரரும், கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு உடன் சுதந்தரருமாமே; கிறிஸ்துவுடனேகூட நாம் மகிமைப்படும்படிக்கு அவருடனேகூடப் பாடுபட்டால் அப்படியாகும்.
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;
ஆன்மா மனிதகுலத்தை ஆசீர்வதிக்க எண்ணற்ற வளங்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளது, மேலும் ஆன்மாவை நாடினால், மகிழ்ச்சியானது நம்முடைய பாதுகாப்பில் மிகவும் பாதுகாப்பாக இருக்கும்.
Soul has infinite resources with which to bless mankind, and happiness would be more readily attained and would be more secure in our keeping, if sought in Soul.
ஆன்மீக மனிதனின் ஆத்மா அல்லது மனம் கடவுள், கடவுள் தான், ஏனென்றால் இந்த உண்மையான மனிதர் உணர்வுக்கு பதிலாக ஆத்மாவால் ஆளப்படுகிறார், ஏனெனில் தந்தை சரியானவராக இருந்தாலும், மனிதனை பரிபூரணமாக விஞ்ஞானம் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. ஆவியின் சட்டத்தால், விஷயத்தின் சட்டங்கள் என்று அழைக்கப்படுவதன் மூலம் அல்ல.
The Science of being reveals man as perfect, even as the Father is perfect, because the Soul, or Mind, of the spiritual man is God, the divine Principle of all being, and because this real man is governed by Soul instead of sense, by the law of Spirit, not by the so-called laws of matter.

The so-called laws of matter and of medical science have never made mortals whole, harmonious, and immortal. Man is harmonious when governed by Soul. Hence the importance of understanding the truth of being, which reveals the laws of spiritual existence.

Human thought has adulterated the meaning of the word soul through the hypothesis that soul is both an evil and a good intelligence, resident in matter. The proper use of the word soul can always be gained by substituting the word God, where the deific meaning is required. In other cases, use the word sense, and you will have the scientific signification. As used in Christian Science, Soul is properly the synonym of Spirit, or God; but out of Science, soul is identical with sense, with material sensation.

Knowing that Soul and its attributes were forever manifested through man, the Master healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, feet to the lame, thus bringing to light the scientific action of the divine Mind on human minds and bodies and giving a better understanding of Soul and salvation. Jesus healed sickness and sin by one and the same metaphysical process.

Soul is the substance, Life, and intelligence of man, which is individualized, but not in matter. Soul can never reflect anything inferior to Spirit.
Man is the expression of Soul. The Indians caught some glimpses of the underlying reality, when they called a certain beautiful lake "the smile of the Great Spirit."

The opposite and false views of the people hid from their sense Christ's sonship with God. They could not discern his spiritual existence. Their carnal minds were at enmity with it. Their thoughts were filled with mortal error, instead of with God's spiritual idea as presented by Christ Jesus. The likeness of God we lose sight of through sin, which beclouds the spiritual sense of Truth; and we realize this likeness only when we subdue sin and prove man's heritage, the liberty of the sons of God.

Soul is the divine Principle of man and never sins, — hence the immortality of Soul. In Science we learn that it is material sense, not Soul, which sins; and it will be found that it is the sense of sin which is lost, and not a sinful soul.

Mortal man seems to himself to be material substance, while man is "image" (idea). Delusion, sin, disease, and death arise from the false testimony of material sense, which, from a supposed standpoint outside the focal distance of infinite Spirit, presents an inverted image of Mind and substance with everything turned upside down.
This falsity presupposes soul to be an unsubstantial dweller in material forms, and man to be material instead of spiritual. Immortality is not bounded by mortality. Soul is not compassed by finiteness. Principle is not to be found in fragmentary ideas.

In trying to undo the errors of sense one must pay fully and fairly the utmost farthing, until all error is finally brought into subjection to Truth. The divine method of paying sin's wages involves unwinding one's snarls, and learning from experience how to divide between sense and Soul.
Divine Science does not put new wine into old bottles, Soul into matter, nor the infinite into the finite. Our false views of matter perish as we grasp the facts of Spirit. The old belief must be cast out or the new idea will be spilled, and the inspiration, which is to change our standpoint, will be lost.

Mortal mind must part with error, must put off itself with its deeds, and immortal manhood, the Christ ideal, will appear. Faith should enlarge its borders and strengthen its base by resting upon Spirit instead of matter.

The nature of Christianity is peaceful and blessed, but in order to enter into the kingdom, the anchor of hope must be cast beyond the veil of matter into the Shekinah into which Jesus has passed before us; and this advance beyond matter must come through the joys and triumphs of the righteous as well as through their sorrows and afflictions. Like our Master, we must depart from material sense into the spiritual sense of being.

Entirely separate from the belief and dream of material living, is the Life divine, revealing spiritual understanding and the consciousness of man's dominion over the whole earth. This understanding casts out error and heals the sick, and with it you can speak "as one having authority."
