1 எனக்கு ஒத்தாசை வரும் பர்வதங்களுக்கு நேராக என் கண்களை ஏறெடுக்கிறேன்.
2 வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உண்டாக்கின கர்த்தரிடத்திலிருந்து எனக்கு ஒத்தாசை வரும்.
5 கர்த்தர் உன்னைக் காக்கிறவர்; கர்த்தர் உன் வலதுபக்கத்திலே உனக்கு நிழலாயிருக்கிறார்.
6 பகலிலே வெயிலாகிலும், இரவிலே நிலவாகிலும் உன்னைச் சேதப்படுத்துவதில்லை.
7 கர்த்தர் உன்னை எல்லாத் தீங்குக்கும் விலக்கிக் காப்பார்; அவர் உன் ஆத்துமாவைக் காப்பாற்றுவார்.
8 கர்த்தர் உன் போக்கையும் உன் வரத்தையும் இதுமுதற்கொண்டு என்றைக்குங் காப்பார்.
1. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
5. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
பாடம் பிரசங்கம்
1 கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் நல்லவர் அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது.
2 கர்த்தரால் சத்துருவின் கைக்கு நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்கப்பட்டு,
3 கிழக்கிலும் மேற்கிலும் வடக்கிலும் தெற்கிலுமுள்ள பல தேசங்களிலுமிருந்து சேர்க்கப்பட்டவர்கள், அப்படிச் சொல்லக்கடவர்கள்.
4 அவர்கள் தாபரிக்கும் ஊரைக் காணாமல், வனாந்தரத்திலே அவாந்தர வழியாய்,
5 பசியாகவும், தாகமாகவும், ஆத்துமா தொய்ந்ததாகவும் அலைந்து திரிந்தார்கள்.
6 தங்கள் ஆபத்திலே கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் இக்கட்டுகளிலிருந்து அவர்களை விடுவித்தார்.
7 தாபரிக்கும் ஊருக்குப்போய்ச்சேர, அவர்களைச் செவ்வையான வழியிலே நடத்தினார்.
8 தவனமுள்ள ஆத்துமாவைக் கர்த்தர் திருப்தியாக்கி, பசியுள்ள ஆத்துமாவை நன்மையினால் நிரப்புகிறாரென்று,
9 அவருடைய கிருபையினிமித்தமும், மனுபுத்திரருக்கு அவர் செய்கிற அதிசயங்களினிமித்தமும் அவரைத் துதிப்பார்களாக.
1 O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8 Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
10 ஜாதிகளே, நீங்கள் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டு, தூரத்திலுள்ள தீவுகளில் அறிவித்து, இஸ்ரவேலைச் சிதறடித்தவர் அதைச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, ஒரு மேய்ப்பன் தன் மந்தையைக் காக்கும்வண்ணமாக அதைக் காப்பார் என்று சொல்லுங்கள்.
11 கர்த்தர் யாக்கோபை மீட்டு, அவனிலும் பலத்தவனுடைய கைக்கு அவனை நீங்கலாக்கி விடுவிக்கிறார்.
12 அவர்கள் வந்து, சீயோனின் உச்சியிலே கெம்பீரித்து, கர்த்தர் அருளும் கோதுமை, திராட்சரசம், எண்ணெய், ஆட்டுக்குட்டிகள், கன்றுக்குட்டிகள் என்பவைகளாகிய இந்த நன்மைகளுக்காக ஓடிவருவார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சலான தோட்டம்போலிருக்கும்; அவர்கள் இனித் தொய்ந்துபோவதில்லை.
13 அப்பொழுது கன்னிகைகளும், வாலிபரும், முதியோருங்கூட ஆனந்தக்களிப்பாய் மகிழுவார்கள்; நான் அவர்கள் துக்கத்தைச் சந்தோஷமாக மாற்றி, அவர்களைத் தேற்றி, அவர்கள் சஞ்சலம் நீங்க அவர்களைச் சந்தோஷப்படுத்துவேன்.
14 ஆசாரியரின் ஆத்துமாவைக் கொழுமையானவைகளினால் பூரிப்பாக்குவேன்; என் ஜனங்கள் நான் அளிக்கும் நன்மையினால் திருப்தியாவார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
10 Hear the word of the Lord, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
11 For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the Lord, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the Lord.
1 ... அப்பொழுது தேவனுடைய ஆவி ஓதேதின் குமாரனாகிய அசரியாவின்மேல் இறங்கினதினால்,
2 அவன் வெளியே ஆசாவுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோய், அவனை நோக்கி: ஆசாவே, யூதா பென்யமீன் கோத்திரங்களின் சகல மனுஷரே, கேளுங்கள்; நீங்கள் கர்த்தரோடிருந்தால், அவர் உங்களோடிருப்பார்; நீங்கள் அவரைத் தேடினால், உங்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுவார்; அவரை விட்டீர்களேயாகில், அவர் உங்களை விட்டுவிடுவார்.
3 இஸ்ரவேலிலே அநேக நாளாய் மெய்யான தேவனும் இல்லை, உபதேசிக்கிற ஆசாரியனும் இல்லை, வேதமும் இல்லை.
4 தங்கள் நெருக்கத்திலே இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்துக்குத் திரும்பி, அவரைத் தேடினபோது, அவர் அவர்களுக்கு வெளிப்பட்டார்.
5 அக்காலங்களிலே வெளியே போகிறவர்களுக்கும் உள்ளே வருகிறவர்களுக்கும் சமாதானம் இல்லை; தேசங்களின் குடிகளெல்லாருக்குள்ளும் மகா அமளி உண்டாயிருந்து,
8 ஆசா இந்த வார்த்தைகளையும் தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய ஓதேதின் தீர்க்கதரிசனத்தையும் கேட்டபோது, அவன் திடன்கொண்டு, அருவருப்புகளை யூதா பென்யமீன் தேசம் அனைத்திலும், எப்பிராயீமின் மலைத்தேசத்தில் தான் பிடித்த பட்டணங்களிலுமிருந்து அகற்றி, கர்த்தருடைய மண்டபத்தின் முன்னிருக்கிற கர்த்தருடைய பலிபீடத்தைப் புதுப்பித்து,
9 அவன் யூதா பென்யமீன் ஜனங்களையும், அவர்களோடேகூட எப்பிராயீமிலும் மனாசேயிலும் சிமியோனிலும் இருந்து வந்து அவர்களோடு சஞ்சரித்தவர்களையும் கூட்டினான்; அவனுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவனோடிருக்கிறதைக் கண்டு, இஸ்ரவேலிலிருந்து திரளான ஜனங்கள் அவன் பட்சத்தில் சேர்ந்தார்கள்.
12 தங்கள் பிதாக்களின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைத் தங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் தங்கள் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் தேடுவோம் என்றும்;
1 …the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:
2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you;
3 Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.
4 But when they in their trouble did turn unto the Lord God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.
5 And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.
8 And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the Lord, that was before the porch of the Lord.
9 And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.
12 And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul.
14 பின்பு இயேசு ஆவியானவருடைய பலத்தினாலே கலிலேயாவுக்குத் திரும்பிப் போனார். அவருடைய கீர்த்தி சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற தேசமெங்கும் பரம்பிற்று.
15 அவர்களுடைய ஜெப ஆலயங்களில் அவர் உபதேசித்து, எல்லாராலும் புகழப்பட்டார்.
16 தான் வளர்ந்த ஊராகிய நாசரேத்துக்கு அவர் வந்து, தம்முடைய வழக்கத்தின்படியே ஓய்வுநாளில் ஜெபஆலயத்தில் பிரவேசித்து, வாசிக்க எழுந்து நின்றார்.
17 அப்பொழுது ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசியின் புஸ்தகம் அவரிடத்தில் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. அவர் புஸ்தகத்தை விரித்தபோது:
18 கர்த்தருடைய ஆவியானவர் என்மேலிருக்கிறார்; தரித்திரருக்குச் சுவிசேஷத்தைப் பிரசங்கிக்கும்படி என்னை அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினார்; இருதயம் நருங்குண்டவர்களைக் குணமாக்கவும், சிறைப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு விடுதலையையும், குருடருக்குப் பார்வையையும் பிரசித்தப்படுத்தவும், நொறுங்குண்டவர்களை விடுதலையாக்கவும்,
19 கர்த்தருடைய அநுக்கிரக வருஷத்தைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்தவும், என்னை அனுப்பினார், என்று எழுதியிருக்கிற இடத்தை அவர் கண்டு,
20 வாசித்து, புஸ்தகத்தைச் சுருட்டி, பணிவிடைக்காரனிடத்தில் கொடுத்து, உட்கார்ந்தார். ஜெபஆலயத்திலுள்ள எல்லாருடைய கண்களும் அவர்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருந்தது.
21 அப்பொழுது அவர் அவர்களோடே பேசத்தொடங்கி: உங்கள் காதுகள் கேட்க இந்த வேதவாக்கியம் இன்றையத்தினம் நிறைவேறிற்று என்றார்.
14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
22 பின்பு அவர் பெத்சாயிதா ஊருக்கு வந்தார்; அப்பொழுது ஒரு குருடனை அவரிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து, அவனைத் தொடும்படி அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள்.

24 அவன் ஏறிட்டுப்பார்த்து: நடக்கிற மனுஷரை மரங்களைப்போல் காண்கிறேன் என்றான்.
25 பின்பு அவர் மறுபடியும் அவன் கண்களின்மேல் கைகளை வைத்து, அவனை ஏறிட்டுப்பார்க்கும்படி செய்தார்; அப்பொழுது அவன் சொஸ்தமடைந்து, யாவரையும் தெளிவாய்க் கண்டான்.
22 And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.
23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.
24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.
25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
1 ஓ,தாகமாயிருக்கிறவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் தண்ணீர்களண்டைக்கு வாருங்கள்; பணமில்லாதவர்களே, நீங்கள் வந்து, வாங்கிச் சாப்பிடுங்கள்; நீங்கள் வந்து, பணமுமின்றி விலையுமின்றித் திராட்சரசமும் பாலும்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
2 நீங்கள் அப்பமல்லாததற்காகப் பணத்தையும், திருப்திசெய்யாத பொருளுக்காக உங்கள் பிரயாசத்தையும் செலவழிப்பானேன்? நீங்கள் எனக்குக் கவனமாய்ச் செவிகொடுத்து நலமானதைச் சாப்பிடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது உங்கள் ஆத்துமா கொழுப்பான பதார்த்தத்தினால் மகிழ்ச்சியாகும்.
3 உங்கள் செவியைச் சாய்த்து, என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள்: கேளுங்கள், அப்பொழுது உங்கள் ஆத்துமா பிழைக்கும்; தாவீதுக்கு அருளின நிச்சயமான கிருபைகளை உங்களுக்கு நித்திய உடன்படிக்கையாக ஏற்படுத்துவேன்.
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
25 சிதறுண்ட ஆடுகளைப்போலிருந்தீர்கள்; இப்பொழுதோ உங்கள் ஆத்துமாக்களுக்கு மேய்ப்பரும் கண்காணியுமானவரிடத்தில் திருப்பப்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்கள்.
25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
சொர்க்கத்தை அடைய, இருத்தலின் இணக்கம், இருத்தல் என்ற தெய்வீகக் கொள்கையை நாம் புரிந்து கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
To reach heaven, the harmony of being, we must understand the divine Principle of being.
சொர்க்கம். இணக்கம்; ஆவியின் ஆட்சி; தெய்வீகக் கொள்கையால் அரசாங்கம்; ஆன்மீகம்; பேரின்பம்; ஆன்மாவின் வளிமண்டலம்.
Heaven. Harmony; the reign of Spirit; government by divine Principle; spirituality; bliss; the atmosphere of Soul.
ஆன்மா, அல்லது ஆவி, கடவுள், மாறாத மற்றும் நித்தியம்; மனிதன் கடவுளின் ஆன்மாவுடன் இணைந்து வாழ்கிறான் மற்றும் பிரதிபலிக்கிறான், ஏனென்றால் மனிதன் கடவுளின் உருவம்.
Soul, or Spirit, is God, unchangeable and eternal; and man coexists with and reflects Soul, God, for man is God's image.

Soul is the substance, Life, and intelligence of man, which is individualized, but not in matter. Soul can never reflect anything inferior to Spirit.
Man is the expression of Soul. The Indians caught some glimpses of the underlying reality, when they called a certain beautiful lake "the smile of the Great Spirit."

We cannot deny that Life is self-sustained, and we should never deny the everlasting harmony of Soul, simply because, to the mortal senses, there is seeming discord. It is our ignorance of God, the divine Principle, which produces apparent discord, and the right understanding of Him restores harmony. Truth will at length compel us all to exchange the pleasures and pains of sense for the joys of Soul.

Soul is immortal because it is Spirit, which has no element of self-destruction. Is man lost spiritually? No, he can only lose a sense material. All sin is of the flesh. It cannot be spiritual. Sin exists here or hereafter only so long as the illusion of mind in matter remains. It is a sense of sin, and not a sinful soul, which is lost. Evil is destroyed by the sense of good.
Through false estimates of soul as dwelling in sense and of mind as dwelling in matter, belief strays into a sense of temporary loss or absence of soul, spiritual truth. This state of error is the mortal dream of life and substance as existent in matter, and is directly opposite to the immortal reality of being. So long as we believe that soul can sin or that immortal Soul is in mortal body, we can never understand the Science of being. When humanity does understand this Science, it will become the law of Life to man, — even the higher law of Soul, which prevails over material sense through harmony and immortality.
வாழ்க்கை என்பது ஆன்மாவின் சட்டம், சத்தியத்தின் ஆவியின் சட்டம் கூட, ஆன்மா அதன் பிரதிநிதி இல்லாமல் இல்லை. ஆன்மாவை விட மனிதனின் தனிமனிதன் உயிரிழக்கவோ, சுயநினைவின்மையில் மறைந்துவிடவோ முடியாது, ஏனென்றால் இரண்டுமே அழியாதவை.
Life is the law of Soul, even the law of the spirit of Truth, and Soul is never without its representative. Man's individual being can no more die nor disappear in unconsciousness than can Soul, for both are immortal.
தெய்வீக மனம் மனிதனின் ஆன்மாவாகும், மேலும் மனிதனுக்கு எல்லாவற்றிலும் ஆதிக்கம் செலுத்துகிறது. மனிதன் ஒரு பொருள் அடிப்படையில் படைக்கப்படவில்லை, அல்லது ஆவி ஒருபோதும் உருவாக்காத பொருள் சட்டங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும்படி கட்டளையிடப்படவில்லை; அவரது மாகாணம் ஆன்மீக சட்டங்களில், மனதின் உயர் சட்டத்தில் உள்ளது.
The divine Mind is the Soul of man, and gives man dominion over all things. Man was not created from a material basis, nor bidden to obey material laws which Spirit never made; his province is in spiritual statutes, in the higher law of Mind.

…harmonious and immortal man has existed forever, and is always beyond and above the mortal illusion of any life, substance, and intelligence as existent in matter. This statement is based on fact, not fable. The Science of being reveals man as perfect, even as the Father is perfect, because the Soul, or Mind, of the spiritual man is God, the divine Principle of all being, and because this real man is governed by Soul instead of sense, by the law of Spirit, not by the so-called laws of matter.

When understanding changes the standpoints of life and intelligence from a material to a spiritual basis, we shall gain the reality of Life, the control of Soul over sense, and we shall perceive Christianity, or Truth, in its divine Principle. This must be the climax before harmonious and immortal man is obtained and his capabilities revealed. It is highly important — in view of the immense work to be accomplished before this recognition of divine Science can come — to turn our thoughts towards divine Principle, that finite belief may be prepared to relinquish its error.

An ill-attuned ear calls discord harmony, not appreciating concord. So physical sense, not discerning the true happiness of being, places it on a false basis. Science will correct the discord, and teach us life's sweeter harmonies.
Soul has infinite resources with which to bless mankind, and happiness would be more readily attained and would be more secure in our keeping, if sought in Soul. Higher enjoyments alone can satisfy the cravings of immortal man. We cannot circumscribe happiness within the limits of personal sense. The senses confer no real enjoyment.
The good in human affections must have ascendency over the evil and the spiritual over the animal, or happiness will never be won. The attainment of this celestial condition would improve our progeny, diminish crime, and give higher aims to ambition. Every valley of sin must be exalted, and every mountain of selfishness be brought low, that the highway of our God may be prepared in Science.

Knowing that Soul and its attributes were forever manifested through man, the Master healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, feet to the lame, thus bringing to light the scientific action of the divine Mind on human minds and bodies and giving a better understanding of Soul and salvation.

Dost thou "love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind"? This command includes much, even the surrender of all merely material sensation, affection, and worship. This is the El Dorado of Christianity. It involves the Science of Life, and recognizes only the divine control of Spirit, in which Soul is our master, and material sense and human will have no place.
